Coil relocator

FOR ZENOAH ENGINES. Remove the 2 screws holding the red coil and fit the coil relocator as shown in the pics. Leave the screws loose and turn the flywheel until the flywheel magnets are at the bottom. place a thin piece of card about the thickness of a business card into the gap between the coil and the flywheel as shown. Press down on the red coil and carefully tighten the 2 screws. Remove the card and fit the grey coil to the relocator as shown.

For TIGER KING engines. Do not set to the thickness of a business card, set the clearance to the MAXIMUM possible. And if using a coil relocator of the type shown then only use ours which is machined to enable  the correct clearance to be obtained.
