DRAKKON TESTING VIDEO

DRAKKON  7.5cc 2019.  Our new stepped hull for geared 7.5cc. Very fast and tight cornering for FSRV 7.5cc and IMBRA Endurance model boat racing in Naviga and Imbra. Completely new deck design and completely new hull based on the Ikarus design but digitised and scaled up. Final tests in January 2020 after a year of racing had 83 kph with DM tuned CMB 45RS EVO using 21/31 gears and A53.5mm propeller.

D1 DRAKKON moulded from epoxy carbon/kevlar and made with vacuum for very high strength and stiffness. Joined in the mould. Prototype used DRAKKON epoxy vacuum carbon/kevlar boat with tank cover and tuned CMB45RS EVO on the Prestwich PMB gearbox and A53.5 Mocom propeller.  Other parts used.  BR87 propshaft, WP23 rudder, PT4A fuel tank, CS20 tuned pipe at 230mm length, GA1A waterscoop, PT13 fuel tank mounting,  CNC1 coupling, XX4A radio hatch cover, GA13 servo mounting tray, 2 trim tabs TTAB1, FC2 float chamber, CW1 carbon wing.
